About Our Event

Social Justice Stations of the Cross ~ 12:00 - 6:30 pm; 8:30 - 10:00 pm

The Stations of the Cross traces Jesus’ journey from his arrest through his death on the cross.  All are invited to experience the world’s brokenness and the ways we experience and participate in suffering.

Rev. Kristin Stoneking says it best:

“may this walk make us conscious of the brokenness that still exists in the world, the signs of hope that surround us, and our responsibility to finish the work of bringing the new heaven and new earth to fruition which Christ inaugurated.”

Service – 7:00 pm

In the Good Friday Liturgy, beginning at 7:00, come hear the Gospel story of Jesus’ suffering and death, pray for the church and the world, venerate the Cross (the symbol of the love that saves us) and share reserve communion, a memory of Jesus’ presence with us whenever we gather, even in the toughest times.
